“Start 2012 with a BANG on the Drums!!!”

“This was the most amazing experience..." - FedEx

Have you thought about doing a team building drumming circle at your next company event or private party? The Brothers in Beat have developed their own brand of interactive drumming called Rock Star Interactive Drumming so even if you've done interactive drumming before, this is a brand new experience and in a whole 'nuther league of fun.

Two things make drumming fun: Firstly, playing together with friends, and secondly, playing together with music. Brothers in Beat is the first to teach companies how to play drums to music (see video clip below).

Drumming is fun every time you do it, but playing drums to music is a whole new level of fun and laughs.

Each person gets a drum and we bring a powerful sound system. We show the group how to take the place of the drummer in the band so they are not only listening to their favourite music, but they are also a part of creating it.

"Thank you it was quite an experience seeing grown ups enjoying it like kids." - Altech NuPay

Interactive Team Building Drumming Circles

The Brothers in Beat turn your HR into Rock Stars. Groups learn how to "make music by working together!"

The group learns to listen to each other and is united by working together, each doing their own part in the high energy setting of drumming. Once a team learns to play well together in a social setting it naturally improves how well they work together as well.

Team Building Drumming Circles don’t take the whole day. Typical sessions have a one hour duration.

"We had an amazing time - Thank You! My staff have come to me with nothing but praise and compliments - enjoyed the experience - Thank You!"

- Keybase Computer Training

Why Use Brothers In Beat for Interactive Drumming?

  • The Brothers are the first and so far only group in the world to mix interactive drumming with music. You will learn how to play drums to the Pirates of the Caribbean song, We Will Rock You, I Like to Move It Move It, and other tracks that get people in the party mood. This is interactive drumming on a much higher level of fun and engagement.

People + Drums = Fun
People + Drums + Music = Mind Blowing

  • Since we anyway bring a powerful sound system for our Rock Star Interactive Drumming programme, we play music for a while before and after the drumming (depending on our schedule).

  • Other interactive drumming companies try to save money and transport space by bringing many tiny drums along, and drums which are 6 - 8 inches in diameter are NOT much fun to play. The Brothers bring only 9 and 10 inch drums which produce a full sound and are big enough for the biggest hands.

  • For a discounted hourly rate we can stay after the event and play party music saving you the effort of arranging a separate DJ.

  • We don't make life difficult; No deposit is required for corporate bookings.

  • Many people have done interactive drumming before and it remains fun, but Rock Star Interactive Drumming is a unique, fresh experience and is more engaging and a lot more fun than just plain interactive drumming without the music. We receive many comments from participants to support this claim.

"I've done this three times before but this was the most fun one." - Participant at ComAir Event

  • The folks at CMH Nissan in Midrand were sceptical about having interactive drumming at their social function, but were singing the event organiser's praises after their Rock Star Interactive Drumming experience:

"Thanks again for a lekker show you made me look like a legend!!!!"
    - C. Liebenberg, CMH Nissan Midrand

  • You're not dealing with a faceless entity that wants to sell you a service just to make money off you; you're dealing with a small group of brothers who are absolutely passionate about drumming and entertaining people and that reflects very clearly in our events, in the feedback we receive, and in the amount of repeat business.

Not Sure If You Believe in "Team Building"?

Fun is our aim. It's never been our aim to do team building but somehow that always ends up happening. Individuals come into the room and a united team walks out. We believe in having huge fun, cutting loose and living life to the max. But it is simple common sense that when people have this much fun together they will relate to each other better and by extension improve how well they work together. There's a reason why interactive drumming has taken off all over the world as one of the most successful company entertainment activities of all time with scientifically measured benefits to back it up.

“What a fun time, really had an awesome time. A brilliant vibe and even more fun than expected. Therapeutic for those stressed souls.” - Investec

"What are the Benefits of Team Building Drumming Circles?"

It Develops Team Work
You have to listen to the facilitators and each other to make it all come together, and when it does, it's an amazing feeling.

Connects Co-Workers
Even when working in a group, people often stay within their own circle of friends. With Team Building Drumming, people who would not otherwise have been friends connect with each other. Management and employees learn to work together and get to know each other on a more social level.

It’s Very Relaxing
Team Building Drumming has a tremendous stress-relieving effect as well. Beating a drum has a very cool effect in that it has structure, yet it allows you to be creative, it allows you to get rid of negative feelings, while feeling the beat feeds you with very positive feelings.

Stimulates Creativity
Drum patterns and rhythms have a strange effect on people in that it improves their ability to think creatively.

Breaks Down Barriers
Age, gender, and race barriers break down as team members interact and play their part in the intensely stimulating patterns. When people learn to have fun together they will also work well together.

"I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE teambuilding events! But last night was fantastic! I enjoyed it tremendously! Well done!" - ProSNASA

"What Kind of Events Can We Do This At?"

Team-building or Client Functions
The Brothers in Beat teach groups of people a part in a rhythm. When each group plays together an almost tangible sense of unity, connecting and creativity is felt.

Conferences
Between sessions, groups come together to loosen up and clear their minds for the following sessions.

Award Ceremonies or Fundraisers
The event can be opened by a full on drumming performance to set a high-energy tone for the rest of the event.

A Product Launch or Promotion
There’s nothing like the energy of the drums to set the tone for a new product launch or promotion.

Bachelors Parties, Birthday Parties, or Anniversary
It’s the ideal activity to encourage making new friends and deepening existing friendships. There is NO possibility of boredom at a party with team building drumming.

"The men will remember this highlight forever, and never thought it could be so much fun playing drums at a Bachelors. ALL THE MEN enjoyed it a Hell of a lot!! They enjoyed your fellowship afterwards as well. Thanks for a great time. Brothers in Beat ROCKS !!"
